She was predeceased by: her siblings, Juanita Garcia Pallarez, John Garcia, Lupe Garcia, Luisa Garcia Tovar (Joe Tovar), Dolores Garcia Vionis and Pete Garcia; her son-in-law Dr. David N. Guel; and her parents, Jacinto Garcia and Elvira Hernandez Garcia of Mexico.
She is survived by: her children, Cecilia Miranda Guel of Houston, Larry Miranda (Lynn) of Albuquerque, Paul Miranda (Patti) of The Woodlands and Mark Miranda (Danielle) of Cypress; and her spouse Marion Miranda. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson.
