It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Edward Dattner Cronin (Houston, Texas), who passed away on October 6, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elaine Cronin and Ed Cronin. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Kane (Candy); and his children, Erin Kathleen De, Mark, Julia, Maria, Christopher Edward Cochran Cronin (Andrea), Moire, Aonghus, Judith, Evelyn, Killian, Tracy Eileen Hubbard (Thomas), Mollie Denise Ullrich (Karl), Michael, Peter, Helen, Anna, George, Henry, Genevieve, Brendan Daniel (Claire), Aidan, Isabelle, Blaise, Sebastian, Evangeline, Carol Colleen Kelly (Dave), C. J., Lucy, Sean Michael Patrick (Margaret), Jude, Felicity, Olive, Basil, Sheila Marie Santos Caleb (Andrew), John and Sofia.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Earthman Southwest Funeral Home (12555 S Kirkwood Rd, Stafford, TX 77477). A rosary will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (1801 Sage Rd, Houston, TX 77056). A committal service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (3502 N Main St, Houston, TX 77009).
