She was predeceased by: her husband Ruben; and her parents, Barbara Ybarra and Julio Ybarra. She is survived by: her children, Lourdes Burton, Loretta Pena (Louis Pena) and Ruben Rodriguez (Debbie Rodriguez); her sister Leonarda; her grandchildren, Jamie Pena (Lesa), Crystal Medina (Johnnie), Megan Izaguirre (Phillipe), Nicholas Rodriguez and Courtney Rodriguez; and her great grandchildren, Miranda, Lily, Johnnie Jr. (JJ) and Aria. She is also survived by her family as well as to their extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations we made in Esperanza's name to Harbor Hospice and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
