We are sad to announce that on July 28, 2025, at the age of 87, Evelyn Gayle Steele (Houston, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bob Steele; her son Jerry Bartee; her mother Ada Forgey; and her brother Edward Manning Jr.. She is survived by: her brother Jerry Esmond; her sons, Ronald Bartee (Rosey) and Terry Bartee (Debbie); her grandchildren, Michelle, Ronald (Hillary), Jeffrey (Mindi), Ashlee (Eric), Amber (Terry) and Weslee; and her great grandchildren, Parker, Jace, Charli, Tate, Tripp, Judy, Magnolia, Scarlett and Lottie.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Brookside Memorial Park (13747 Eastex Fwy, Houston, TX 77039).
