She was predeceased by: her parents, Meachum Sr. Archie and Hortense Archie (Dickey); her husband Leotha Jenkins; her siblings, Meachum Jr., Adolphus, Alfred of Glen, W. D., Effie Lewis, Evelyn Frenchette Archie and Doris Ross; and her godson Paul Phillips.
She is survived by: her friend Leotha "Jabo" Jenkins; her children, Roberta Porter and Allen Jenkins Sr.; her grandchildren, Gerald Porter (Ann), Kevin Porter, Allen Jenkins Jr., Kendrick Jenkins and D'Aldrin Jenkins (Bridgett); her siblings, Annette Harrison, Sonja Archie, Marjorie Archie and Thurston Archie; her daughter Karen Wilson (Robert); her godchildren, Brenda, Gayla, Doug, Tracy and Kim Phillips; and her friend Petty Jean Lewis. She is also survived by great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church (12 Mt Zion Church Rd, Huntsville, TX 77320). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
