He is survived by: his wife Margarita Tovar; his children, Juanita Tovar, Alma Tanaka (Carlos Tanaka) and Francisco Tovar Jr.; his siblings, Ezequiel, Gertrudis Tovar and Luisa Vela; and his grandchildren, Anthony, Abram Edwards, Emma and Brandon Tanaka.
