It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George N. Sanders Jr. of Houston, Texas, who passed away on October 31, 2023, at the age of 28, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George William Sanders and Gertrude Chatman; his wife Ressie B. Newton Sanders; and his siblings, Lenora, Andrew and William.
He is survived by: his children, Bishop George Nelse Sanders III (La Tresa), Walter Sanders (Lisa), Lisa Caesar Gibbs (Lonnie) and Lakita Sanders-Johnson (Freddie); his sister Joyce M. Sanders-Harris; and his son William "Bear" Harris. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
