It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gonzalo Rodriguez of Houston, Texas, who passed away on October 10, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Rafael and Josefina Victoria Rodriguez; his brother Pasqual Rodriguez; and his siblings-in-law, Eva Garza Rodriguez and John M. Griffin.
He is survived by: his sister Amparo Rodriguez Griffin; and his sibling's children, Sylvia Brumlow (Kenny), Rosa Buzarde (Vern), Jeanne Williams (Ed), Susan Jackson and John J. Griffin (Janet). He is also survived by numerous grandnieces and grandnephews, as well as great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
A rosary will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM at the Forest Park East Funeral Home (21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598). Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
