It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Huel Ledbetter of Houston, Texas, born in Tallassee, Alabama, who passed away on January 16, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Whit Ledbetter and Grace Ledbetter; his stepmother Mary Ledbetter; and his brothers, Lewis Ferrell Ledbetter and Tommy Ledbetter (Rebecca).
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his stepchildren, Shelly Franklin (Kenny) of Cypress and Chad Thibodeaux (Tina) of Horseshoe Bay; his sister-in-law Evelyn Ledbetter; and his caregiver Hugh. He is also survived by grandchildren, extended family, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his name to the Houston Alzheimer's Association or National Veterans Outreach.
