He was predeceased by: his parents, Velma Laura (Hendrick) and Virgil Parks Bayless, Sr.; and his brothers, Virgil Bayless (Jean), Pete Bayless (Eve), Jim Bayless (Anita) and Fred Bayless (Joyce).
He is survived by: his wife Wilda Garrett; his children, Jeff Bayless (Amy) and Gina Gunn (David); his granddaughters, Katie Bayless, Paisley Way (Ryan), Kristen Gunn and Allison Kaiser (Kurt); his great grandchild Brooks Way; and his sister-in-law Joyce McLaughlin Bayless (Fred). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
