He was predeceased by : his parents, James Peyton Standifer Griffith and Fay Wilson Griffith; and his brother Richard Griffith. He is survived by : his wife Margaret Hixon Griffith; his daughters, Mary Frances Szoradi (Stephen) and Elizabeth Griffith Lashar (Garrett); his grandchildren, Amelia Szoradi and Tucker Szoradi; his sister Mary Wallace (Roger); his nieces and nephews, Fay Wallace, Peyton Wallace (Dominique) and Windham Wallace; his brother Wilson Griffith (Patricia); his nephew Wilson Griffith II; and his daughter Tye Leon (Santiago).
