He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Sanders and Jimmie Sanders. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, David (Elizabeth), Justin Rickard and Lynn Shannon; his grandson Nicholas Jeremiah; his brother Roy Lee Sanders (Cathy); his brother-in-law Bill Buck; and his aunt Velma Sanders. He is also survived by several nephews, great nephews, nieces, great nieces, and cousins.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Westbury Baptist Church General Fund, Camp Janus.org/donations or a charity of their choice.
