With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Calvin Hunter (Houston, Texas), who passed away on December 1, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Hunter and Cordie Mai Hunter; his wife Frances Winder of Gainesville, Texas.; and his sister Mary Alice Cathey of Quitman, Texas.. He is survived by: his children, John Hunter (Susan Miertschin) and Pamela (Roger Davis); his grandchildren, Jill Hunter, Julie Hunter, Robert Hunter, Joey Hunter, Courtney Aho, Brendan Davis and Alexandra Davis; and his great grandchildren, Isabel Asher, Rose Asher, Avery Aho, Cody Aho, Beckett Aho and Adelaide Davis.
