He was predeceased by: his parents, John Klassen and Elizabeth Reimer Klassen; and his siblings, Abe Klassen, Margaret Kroeker and Jake Klassen.
He is survived by: his wife Henrietta Klassen; his sister Lillian Regehr of Canada; and his daughters, Karoline Klassen (Anthony Pittman) of Sugarland and Janine Klassen of Richmond. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews in Canada as well as cousins.
