He was predeceased by: his parents, John Perry Nixon, Jr. and Betty Comfort Nixon. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Pehl Nixon; and his sisters, Judith Nixon Carpenter, Janice Nixon Martin (Jerry) and Jacquelyn Nixon Hammond (Peter). He is also survived by four children, nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
