He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvia Cecilia Grillo-Griñán and José Luis Griñán. He is survived by: his wife Kathyrn Griffin Townsend-Griñán; his sisters, Dolores Caridad Griñán-Blanchett, Carmen Luisa Griñán and Sylvia Yolanda Griñán; his daughters, Amora Christina Griñán, Angelina Michelle Griñán-Steenrod (Allen Steenrod), Terreni Griffin-Hall (Alton Hall), Heather Settles (Jamelle Settles) and Skye Griffin; and his grandchildren, Anastasia, Penelope, Shiloh, Andrew, Rian, Kagan, Centuri and Joie Kathryn.
A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 7:00 PM at 1111 St Joseph Pkwy, Houston, TX 77002. The military honors will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
