He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Hinojosa and Ricarda Villarreal. He is survived by: his wife Juana Hinojosa; his children, Abel Hinojosa (Christina Cisneros), Raul Hinojosa (Sandy Hinojosa), Jose L. Hinojosa Jr. (Dolores Hinojosa) and Claudia Hinojosa (Orlando Ochoa); his grandchildren, Ashley Hinojosa, Alexis Hinojosa, Gisele Hinojosa, Faith Hinojosa, Ellyana Hinojosa, Jazmine Hinojosa, Gynesa Hinojosa and Celeste Hinojosa; and his great grandchild Mateo Hinojosa.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Brookside Funeral Home (13747 Eastex Fwy, Houston, TX 77039).
