In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Jose leaves behind and his impact on our lives. Though Jose may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories we hold dear, a guiding light that illuminates our paths in times of darkness.

He is survived by : his wife Genoveva Renteria; his sons, Jose Samuel (Carolyn) and Santiago; his grandchildren, Alisha Wise, Eli Renteria, Francisco Renteria and Jocelyn Renteria; and his sisters, Ana Maria Cervantes and Maria Del Refugio Sanchez.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vazquez Funeral Home (219 E Crosstimbers St, Houston, TX 77022). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
