She was predeceased by : her husband Jesse D. Cordova Sr.; and her parents, Louis Fonseca and Simona Fonseca. She is survived by : her children, Jesse D. Cordova Jr., Sandra J. Cordova, Michelle Cordova and Simon C. Cordova Sr. (Catrina); her grandchildren, Brittany N. Castro, Ben R. Castro, Brandon J. Galvan, Simon Cordova Jr., Arrianna G. Castro, Aaron C. Galvan and Samuel Cordova; her great grandchild Dylan Jesse Castro; and her siblings, Michael Fernandez, Cruz Fonseca, Janie Espinoza and Betty Rojas.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, May 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Compean Funeral Home (2102 Broadway St, Houston, TX 77012). A rosary was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Thursday, May 16th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church (7539 Avenue K, Houston, TX 77012). A burial was held on Thursday, May 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery (6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX 77023).
