Josephine R. Touchet Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine R. Touchet in Houston, Texas, who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence Touchet; her parents, Jose Rodriguez and Guadalupe Rodriguez; and her siblings, Hector Rodriguez, Reymundo Rodriguez and Carlota Rodriguez Davila.

She is survived by: her brothers, Juan "Johnny" Rodriguez, Humberto Rodriguez and Frank Rodriguez; her children, Arnold Vega Jr. (Minnie) and Martha Jo Vega Zamarron (Henry); her granddaughters, Cecilia Vega Bravo (Mike), Claudette Colunga Dhue and Regina Vega-Giraldo (George); and her great grandchild Alyssa "Nikki" Giraldo. She is also survived by in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home (6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX 77023). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St Patrick Catholic Church (4918 Cochran St, Houston, TX 77009). A committal service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery (6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX 77023).
