In the sacred silence of farewell, Josie is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Josie's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Elder William T. Fleming and Ellen L. Fleming; and her husband Maceo. She was also cherished by one daughter, one sister, and two brothers, while survived by her husband, three daughters, eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to New Vision Christian Fellowship, her home church.
