It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juana Maria Martinez of Houston, Texas, who passed away on May 6, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Romo and Maria Teresa Rodriguez Aguilar; and her son Francisco Javier Mora Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Rolando Ortiz Martinez; her children, Manuela Mora (Joaquin Moreno), Sora Eliana Berg (John Berg), Alva Alvear (Arthur Andrus Jr.), Jennifer Martinez and Juan Morales; her siblings, Patricia, Eloisa, Adriana, Teresa, Clemencia, Dolores, Jose and Raymundo; and her grandchildren, Nelly Reyes, Samantha Mora, Marcos Villegas, Jasmine Villegas, Nicholas Villegas, Angela Villegas, Dylan Berg, Conor Berg, Leonardo Rodriguez, Francisco Javier Mora III, Luis Angel Mora, Miguel Alejandro Mora, Jose Armando Mora and Annabelle Morales.
She also did charity work for breast cancer awareness with Zumba at the Toyota Center.
