She was predeceased by: her parents, Teodula Fuentes and Francisco Fuentes; and her brothers, Alberto Fuentes and Frank Fuentes Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Christy Ann Chapa of Houston, John Gilbert Torres of Houston and Elisha Marie Hidalgo of Houston; her grandsons, Joseph, Jacob and Joshua Hidalgo; and her siblings, Rosa Maria Garza of Brownsville, Alicia Barrientos of Houston and Jose Luis Fuentes (Pico) of Brownsville.
