She was predeceased by: her parents, Jaby Lee Carr and Lemora Dortch Carr; her husbands, Newton H. "Doc" Flores and Clifton K. Idom; and her daughter Nita Virginia Parton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Martha Price, Linda Andrews (J. D. Andrews) and Anita Temple (Shannon Temple); her son-in-law Ray Parton II; and her friend Stephanie Doyal. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Brookside Funeral Home (13747 Eastex Fwy, Houston, TX 77039). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to the Children's Department of First Baptist Church, New Waverly.
