She is survived by: her sister Cynthia Castro; her children, Laura Wheeler (Ronnie), Mario Torres, Buddy Torres, Maria Ripe, Elena Torres and Peachy Saenz (Javier); her grandchildren, Michael (Lori), Carlos (Tasha), Abby (Ezekiel), Nicholas and Addie; and her great grandchildren, Victoria, Rhyan, Phoenix, Hunter, Bella, Wyatt, Owen and Eli.

A rosary was held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 6:30 PM at the St. Jerome Catholic Church (8825 Kempwood Dr, Houston, TX 77080). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Jerome's Catholic Church (8825 Kempwood Dr, Houston, TX 77080).
