She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Nolan Howard; and her parents, Dr. G. W. Tompson and Edythe Tompson. She is survived by: her brother Willard Tompson (Martha "Lu") of Dallas, Texas.; her sisters-in-law, Juliana Rutherford (Ron) of Johnson City, Texas. and Charlotte Fade of Chester, Texas.; her children, Cynthia Latour (Mark) of Houston, Texas., Dr. Bill N. Howard (Tammy Bone) of Akron, Indiana. and Kathy Shelly (Don); her granddaughter Alexis Rawley (Jacob); and her great grandchild Connor of Houston, Texas.. She is also survived by Numerous loving cousins, nieces and nephews along with their extended families.
She also served on the Board of Community Hospital Foundation, taught Sunday School, and served as a volunteer poll worker.
