He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale B. Jefferson and Ethel Marie Jefferson; and his siblings, Wanda Lee McDaniel, Patsy Ann Petrosky, Joy Wynell Dinsmore-Zamora and Jerry Allen Jefferson.

He is survived by: his daughter Wanda Rone (Jeff); and his siblings, Mimie Frances Redd, Lynda Florence Moore and Richard Jefferson (Pat). He is also survived by grandchildren; great grandchildren.
