She is survived by: her children, Samuel Scimemi (Rosie), Philip Scimemi (Katarina), Peter Scimemi (Mary) and Rosanna Scimemi Martin (Terry); her grandchildren, Courtney Scimemi, Alexis Thigpen, Aras Scimemi, Hunter Thigpen, Jacob Scimemi, Collin Thigpen, Isabella Scimemi, Brooke Martin, Tyler Martin and Cody Martin; and her great grandchildren, Paul, Sophia, Declan, Mavis, Lilleigh, Macie, Colt and Ryker. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception C. (935 Bilbo St, Lake Charles, LA 70602). A rosary will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the J. E. Hixson Funeral Home in the Chapel of Peace.
