Lucia Tovar Blalock, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away in the morning on Thursday, December 31, 2020. She was 83 years old, lived in Houston, Texas for almost 60 years. Born March 4, 1937 in San Luis Potosí, she was the daughter of the late Gerardo and Demetria Tovar.

She is survived by her three children and son-in-law: Manuel Lopez, Jr., Brenda Zepeda, Janie & Lester Milam, three grandchildren: Andrea, Jeremy, and Jacob, and one great-grand child, Amaris.

Visitation services will be conducted from 5 p.m until 8 p.m. at La Paz Memorial Funeral Home. Services will also be available via Livestream.
