We bid farewell to Mamie Wong Moy of Houston, Texas, born in San Antonio, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 27, 2024 at the age of 94. Mamie Wong touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Mamie Wong has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Tai Hay and Chin Shee Wong (Chin); her husband Edward Yue Kuon Moy; and her sister Helen Wong Hom. She is survived by: her son Clifford K. Moy (M. D.); her granddaughter Caroline Moy of Boston; and her brothers, Ed Wong and Houston (Emily). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, Mamie asked that gifts be made to one of the three following charities: 1) "The Moy Family Fund" at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory.

“Mamie touched my life in so many ways during my journey on my path thru the American Chemical Society. So many dinners together over the years, so many laughs and smiles, Mamie was the best and I shall miss her, but at as a priest said at a recent funeral that I attended, "death takes away life, but does not take away relationships - they are for eternity. The spirits of those who have gone before us are with us every day and we can call on them for guidance. Mamie, I will always seek your help.”
