She was predeceased by: her son Dario O Barcacel; her husband Octavio A Barcacel; her parents, Leandro Cantizano and Maria Cantizano; and her siblings, Genaro Cantizano, Altagracia Cantizano, Nicolas Cantizano, Luis Cantizano and Georgina Cantizano.

She is survived by: her sister Carmen Cantizano; her son Dr. Leandro A Barcacel; and her granddaughter Nancy. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
