She is survived by: her husband Ernesto Zardeneta Sr. (Army Sargeant); her children, Sylvia Bonham-Smith and Ernesto Zardeneta, Jr. (Ernie); her grandchildren, Natalie Harris, Corey Smith and Jessica Smith; her great grandchildren, Kenzie Harris, Isaac Harris and Ember Cunningham; Kavan Cunningham, Irma Velasquez and Carlos Velasquez.
