With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria Elena Madrigal in Houston, Texas, who passed away on October 11, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Domingo Madrigal and Francisca Andrade; her son Jaime Villarreal Sr.; and her granddaughter Jessica Villarreal. She is survived by: her children, Melissa Moreno (Oscar) of Victoria, Marizela Peña (Reynaldo) of Victoria, Texas, Guadalupe Villarreal Jr. (Adela) of Victoria, Texas., Juan Villarreal Sr. (Veronica) of Victoria, Texas. and Jerry Villarreal Sr. (Hilda) of Victoria, Texas.; and her siblings, Herlinda Narvaiz (Pilar) of Victoria, Hermina Davis of Victoria, Elida Serna (John) of Pasadena, Texas, Ramiro Madrigal Sr. (Idelta) of Pasadena and Raul Madrigal Sr. (Rosemary) of Clear Lake, Texas.. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 8:15 AM to 10:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Angel Lucy's Funeral Home (706 E Crestwood Dr, Victoria, TX 77901). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church (208 W River St, Victoria, TX 77901).
