Mary Lou Cooper Wiggen Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Lou Cooper Wiggen of Houston, Texas, who passed away on August 26, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Maudie Mary Mercer Cooper and Thomas Henry Cooper; her husband Eugene "Gene" Robert Wiggen; her son Stuart Wiggen; her daughter-in-law Carolyn Wiggen; her siblings, Dick Kaye, John Thomas Cooper, Geneva Cooper, Margaret Cooper Miles, Emogene Cooper and Leta Faye Brammer; and her siblings-in-law, J. W. Miles, Shelby Thomas Brammer, Walter Gardner and Gertrude Gardner.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Emmett Wiggen (Marla) of Round Rock, Thomas Edward Wiggen of Beaumont, Melanie Elizabeth Wiggen of El Lago and Mary Ellen Wiggen Matthews (Harlan) of Katy; her sister-in-law Geneva Cooper of Monticello, Kentucky; her granddaughters, Heather, Hannah and Hailey Matthews; and her stepgrandchildren, Stacy, Adam Daigle and Paulina Diaz-Alton. She is also survived by numerous step great-grandchildren, step great-great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
