She was predeceased by: her parents, C. J. Schmitt and Eva Schmitt; her siblings, Elizabeth Kennedy, Lucille Spears and Buddy Schmitt; and her husband Frank J. Pokluda, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, William Kirten (Nancy), John Kirten (Elaine), Jesse Kirten, Eva Kirten (Cookie Davenport), Sue Ann Pokluda Wallace (Jere) and Frank J. Pokluda III; and her grandchildren, Michael Kirten, Lindsay Kirten Skittrall, Lauren Kirten, Courtney Kirten Sanders, Billy Fuchlow Wallace, Jamey Pokluda IV, Nikki Pokluda, Tina Ortiz, April Faure, Ray-C LeBlanc, David Boak and Kellye Skaer. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer's association.
