He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Grady O'Neal of Texas and Miza Zora "Jane" Ethridge of Texas; his wife Gladys Ann Rigsby; his son Michael (Debbie); his granddaughters, Crystal and Heather; and his great grandchildren, Bianca and Giselle. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
