She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Schneider and Ida Herzog Schneider; her husband Martin Melcher; her siblings, Betty Boes, Eleanor Friedrich, Lorine Melcher, Frieda Boriack, Deloris Shannon and Williebald Schneider; and her sister-in-law Hildegard Melcher.
She is survived by: her children, Harvey Melcher (La Verne) and Mary Wetuski (Harold); her grandchildren, Jodi Phillips (Jerry), Lisa Wetuski, Mark Wetuski, Parilee Rachel Melcher (Lee Howden) and Chris Melcher (Angela); her great grandchildren, Seth, Owen Phillips, Dominique, Danielle, Daisy, Daelynn and Dixie Melcher; and her sister Elsie Handrick.
