He was predeceased by: his mother Josefina Torres Garcia; and his son Modesto Garcia, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Maria L. Garcia; his son Juan Garcia (Sonya Garcia); and his stepdaughter Noemi Casique (Juan Noyola). He is also survived by four children and one granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Felix H. Morales Funeral Home - Northside (611 Little York Rd, Houston, TX 77076). A rosary was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
