It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Monette Mead (Houston, Texas), born in Brownwood, Texas, who passed away on December 17, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Coke Sawyer and Leah Bell Sawyer (Nix). She is survived by: her husband John E. Mead of Spicewood; her children, Mark Mead, Robin Mead Garmon (Bull), Lori Mead and Joel Mead (Debbie); her grandchildren, Kyle Cummings, Jolie Mead and Seth Mead; her cousins, Mike McGarity (Shirley), Barbara Ann Elliot, Bill Norman (Janice) and Mike Norman (Sandy); and her friends, Pat, Butch Sylvester, Joyce, H. E. Naumann, Carl Ann and John Polvado. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
