Nena Hand-DeFoy Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nena Hand-DeFoy in Houston, Texas, who passed away on August 21, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nena Giezendanner and Stuart Giezendanner; her brother Stuart Giezendanner; and her former husband William Hand. She is survived by: her husband Vincent DeFoy; her sons, David Hand (Laura), Stephen Hand (Cindy) and John Hand (Lisa); her grandchildren, Robert Hand (Mary Elizabeth), Melissa Hand Hilliard (Hatch), Kayla Hand, Lindsey Hand Carruthers (Cameron), Elizabeth Hand, Katie Hand and Ryan Hand; her great grandchildren, Annie Hand, Will Hand and Emerson Hilliard; her stepchildren, Randy DeFoy, Paul DeFoy and Mary Alice DeFoy Lantz (Kent); her stepgranddaughter Rachel Lantz Hull (Brad); and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Cooper Hull and Preston Hull. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
