He is survived by: his parents, Alberto Malacara and Diana Malacara; his wife Paola Lopez; his son Omar Sanchez Jr.; his siblings, Lisa Cadena (Benito), Paula Malacara, Jasmine Malacara, Saul Sanchez (Ana) and Presciliano Sanchez (Erica); and his grandparents, Consuelo Maldonado and San Juana R. Malacara. He is also survived by thirty-one nieces and nephews.
