She is survived by: her friend Pam; her children, Shonon Palmer, Keisha Palmer, Kristal Palmer and Brittri Ridley (Obie); her grandchildren, Kiera Miles, Keshona Miles, Kira Powers, Chezare Holland Jr. and Herman Loston; her sons, Jeremiah McCarter Jr. and Donald Taplette IV; and her siblings, Bridgette Henson, Johnetta Angel, Terry Harris (Celeste), Monica Harris and Henric Harris. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
