She is survived by: her husband Michael Allen Higgins; her children, Amy Elizabeth Taylor (Emma Louise McIlroy), Jude Taylor McIlroy and Clay Marshall Taylor (Catherine Lee Taylor); her grandchildren, Clayton Knight Taylor, Caroline Elizabeth Taylor and Crawford Marshall Taylor; her daughter Meredith Lind Turner (Langston Wilcox Turner); her grandchildren, Mary Helen Turner, Wilcox Pinson Turner and Louise Turner of Tennessee; her great grandchild Katherine Lind Paxton (Matthew Colby Paxton); her siblings, Sheila Pinson May, David Hudgins Pinson, Jr. and Michael Joseph Pinson; Hutchison Lind Paxton, Tucker Daniel Paxton and Molly Meredith Paxton.

A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at the St. Martin's Episcopal Church (717 Sage Rd, Houston, TX 77056).

In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions in Patricia's honor be directed to St. Martin's Episcopal Church or Bo's Place of Houston.
