It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Peggy Hogue of Houston, Texas, born in Jacksonville, Texas, who passed away on December 22, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Albert Burton and Rhoda Burton (Cox); her husband Charlie James Hogue, Jr.; her brothers, James W. "Sonny" Burton and Frank Albert Burton, Jr.; and her grandson William K. Neeley III.

She is survived by: her sons, Chuck Hogue of Houston, Chris Hogue (Melanie) of Cypress and Patrick Hogue of Houston, Texas; her daughter-in-law Debra Hogue of Houston, Texas; her grandchildren, C. J. Hogue, Valeria, Amanda Lee, Eric MacDonald, Liam MacDonald, Christopher Hogue, Jr. and Jonathan Hogue; her great grandchildren, Noah MacDonald and Benjamin Hogue; her siblings, Jerry Cox, Barbara Alice Brockway and Mary Ann Gunnin; and her sisters-in-law, Hilda Simmons and Drusilla Hogue. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
