He was predeceased by: his parents, William Weems and Mary Weems; his sister Mary Ruth Weems Crosby (Horace); and his wife Janell Henderson Weems. He is survived by: his children, Mary Beth Slater (David) and Karl Weems (Gwen); his grandchildren, Jason Weems (Hailey), Josh Weems (Amy), Margaret Johnson (Cory) and Peyton Belchic; his great grandchildren, Eli, CJ, Jeremiah Weems, Noah and Quinn Weems; and his niece Cathy Crosby.
