She was predeceased by: her parents, Elva Harris Tipps and Russell Tipps; and her sisters, Jackie Goats, Gwyn Carriere and Grace Moye.
She is survived by: her husband Dale Kinney; her children, Kelli van Gool (Jacques), Jennifer Porchey (Rob) and George J. Polk III (Amy); her grandchildren, Taylor Moll (Nick), Elizabeth Tate Porchey, Wesley Polk and Emerson Polk; her great grandchildren, Laura Moll and Lindsey Moll; her siblings, Nolan Tipps (Gayle) and Beckie Simpson (Mike); and her caregiver Nereida Morales. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Second Baptist Church (19449 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77094).
