He is survived by: his daughter Quanta Ling Newsome; and his siblings, Doris Newsome Mangnon, Maxie O. Tolliver (Malbert) of New Orleans, LA, Peggy Buckley of Atlanta, GA, Louis Magee (Gaynell) of New Orleans, LA and Bobbie Fred Magee of Sarasota, FL.
