He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas McKellop and Jewel McKellop; his brother Donald Ray McKellop; and his siblings-in-law, Clyde and Marjorie Rutland.
He is survived by: his wife Pam Rutland McKellop; his daughter Jennifer Muriel (Peter); his grandchildren, Peter Anthony, Marissa and Mariana Muriel; his son Richard Addison McKellop II (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Lilly Marie, Richard Addison III and Evangeline Louise McKellop.
