He was predeceased by : his parents, Manuel Cazares and Juliana Cazares; his brothers, Domingo and Conrad; his sisters-in-law, Margaret Cazares and Gloria Montalvo Cazares; and his nephew Rudy Cazares.

He is survived by : his wife Genevive; his children, Sylvia and Jerome; his grandson Jerome Dominic Cazares; his great grandchildren, Evan, Braeden, Landen and Anasten Genevieve; and his brother Manuel Cazares, Jr..
