He was predeceased by: his wife Sudie West; his parents, Omar West and Iris West; his grandson Kyle Wishon; his brother Harold; and his sister-in-law Judy West.
He is survived by: his children, Kristi (Bret Wishon) and Mikal (Kody West); his grandchildren, Ryann (Travis Bayer), Meredith, Ellie and Garrett West; his granddaughter-in-law Alba Wishon; his great grandchildren, Grayson, Kaelynn, Rylynn, Gavin Bayer, Brittany, Paris, Elijah, Jacob and Isaiah Wishon; and his siblings, LaDawn Weeks, Sam, Paula West, Susie and Mike Penny.
